  • Recipe
  • Wheat flour2 cup
  • Sugar1.5 cup
  • Cocoa powder3/4 cup
  • Sunflower oil1/2 cup
  • Salt1/2 teaspoon
  • Soy chocolate yogurt1 unit(s)
  • Plant milk (suggestion: oat milk or cashews with coconut)1 cup
  • Boiling water1 cup
  • Vanilla essence or extract1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder1 tablespoon
  • Baking soda1 tablespoon
  • Squeezed lemon or apple cider vinegar1 tablespoon
  • Optional: chopped vegan chocolates/chopped walnuts to taste
  1. Mix everything in a bowl except the vinegar, baking soda, boiling water and the chocolate/nuts*.
  2. Add the boiling water and stir, when everything is homogeneous add the yeast.
  3. Mix in a cup or a tablespoon of baking soda with a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice (it will form a foam that serves as "white in snow")
  4. Add the “white in snow” made of baking soda with vinegar/lemon juice, mixing gently into the cake batter
  5. Put the cake dough in a greased shape and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 min more or less - insert a toothpick to check if the dough is dry
  6. If you want to add chopped chocolate or walnuts, sprinkle them on top of the cake before putting it in the oven.
