- Wheat flour2 cup
- Sugar1.5 cup
- Cocoa powder3/4 cup
- Sunflower oil1/2 cup
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Soy chocolate yogurt1 unit(s)
- Plant milk (suggestion: oat milk or cashews with coconut)1 cup
- Boiling water1 cup
- Vanilla essence or extract1 tablespoon
- Baking powder1 tablespoon
- Baking soda1 tablespoon
- Squeezed lemon or apple cider vinegar1 tablespoon
- Optional: chopped vegan chocolates/chopped walnuts to taste
- Mix everything in a bowl except the vinegar, baking soda, boiling water and the chocolate/nuts*.
- Add the boiling water and stir, when everything is homogeneous add the yeast.
- Mix in a cup or a tablespoon of baking soda with a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice (it will form a foam that serves as "white in snow")
- Add the “white in snow” made of baking soda with vinegar/lemon juice, mixing gently into the cake batter
- Put the cake dough in a greased shape and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 min more or less - insert a toothpick to check if the dough is dry
- If you want to add chopped chocolate or walnuts, sprinkle them on top of the cake before putting it in the oven.
