  • Textured soy protein2 cup
  • lemon1 unit(s)
  • wheat flour1 cup
  • wheat flour1/2 cup
  • small onion1 unit(s)
  • mint and parsley to taste
  • salt2 teaspoon
  • olive oil2 tablespoon
  • Seasonings: cumin, sweet paprika, black pepper to taste
  1. Start by hydrating the soybeans for 20 minutes in boiling water with lemon. Then wash and squeeze well
  2. Beat the soy with all the seasonings until it becomes a well-crushed dough. Transfer this to a bowl and mix with the flour until this dough is homogeneous, consistent and beautiful.
  3. Now just make the shape of the kafta and put it on the toothpick. Arrange on a greased tray with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºc for 30min, remembering to turn halfway through.
