  • Lentil1.5 cup
  • Homemade tomato sauce1 cup
  • Hot water2 cup
  • Chopped Onion4 tablespoon
  • Minced garlic1 dessert spoon
  • Chopped green seasoning1 tablespoon
  • Bay leaf1 unit(s)
  • Carrots, diced1/2 cup
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Olive oil1 dessert spoon
  1. In a pressure cooker, brown the garlic and onion in oil.
  2. Add the lentils, tomato sauce, water, bay leaf and salt. Mix well, close the pressure cooker and let it cook for 4 minutes after it gets pressure.
  3. Remove the pressure from the pot, open it and check if you need to add more water.
  4. Add the carrots and cook until they are al dente.
  5. Add the pepper, adjust the salt and finish with the green seasoning.
  6. Tip: serve with creamy polenta or mashed potatoes!
