- Chickpeas, cooked without broth (can substitute beans)2 cup
- Oat flakes or flour6 tablespoon
- Chopped Onion4 tablespoon
- Chopped Pepper2 tablespoon
- Crushed Garlic Clove3 unit(s)
- Chopped chives4 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Saffron to taste
- Drain the chickpeas in a sieve to make them dry.
- Blend all the ingredients in the processor. If the dough is too soft to shape, add another tablespoon of oatmeal.
- Make the balls, knead them modeling like a hamburger and bake them in a pan greased with oil and let them brown on both sides.
