Firm Tofu

Comece picando a cebola e pimentões (sem as sementes e a parte branca) em cubinhos pequenos.
Drene também o excesso de água do tofu e corte em cubinhos.

Start by chopping the onion and peppers (without the seeds and the white part) into small cubes.
Also drain excess water from the tofu and cut into cubes.

Refogue a cebola em um pouco de azeite até murchar. Adicione os pimentões, sal e pimenta do reino, mexa bem e refogue por 5 minutos, mexendo de vez em quando para não grudar.
Adicione o tofu e o shoyu, mexa com delicadeza para incorporar e deixe cozinhar por mais 5 minutos.

Se você quiser fazer com frango, adicione o frango (temperado com pouco sal e pimenta do reino) e deixe cozinhar completamente antes de colocar o shoyu. Acrescente o shoyu e cozinhe por mais 5 minutos.

Sauté the onion in a little oil until wilted. Add the peppers, salt and black pepper, stir well and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add the tofu and soy sauce, stir gently to incorporate and cook for another 5 minutes.

If you want to make it with chicken, add the chicken (seasoned with a little salt and pepper) and let it cook completely before adding the soy sauce. Add the soy sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.

Adicione a maisena dissolvida e mexa com delicadeza até engrossar o molho.
Desligue o fogo, acrescente o amendoim e sirva com arroz branco!

Add the dissolved cornstarch and stir gently until the sauce thickens.
Turn off the heat, add the peanuts and serve with white rice!
