  • Raw cashews1 cup
  • Filtered water6 cup
  1. In a container with a lid, soak the chestnuts in 3 cups of water in the fridge for about 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Discard the soaking water and wash the chestnuts.
  3. Blend the chestnuts in a blender with 3 cups of fresh filtered water for about 4 minutes or until smooth.
  4. No need to strain!
  5. Store the milk in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  6. It is a great substitute for sour cream in recipes.
