  • Demerara sugar1 cup
  • Butter2 tablespoon
  • Natural yogurt1 unit(s)
  • Milk150 ml
  • Salt1 coffee spoon
  • Cornmeal1 cup
  • Whole wheat flour1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • Fennel to taste
  • Yeast powder1 tablespoon
  • Egg whites3 unit(s)
  1. Whisk the first 3 ingredients for about 5 minutes. Then add the yogurt, milk and salt. Mix.
  2. Gradually add the cornmeal and flour, mixing gently. Add the cinnamon and fennel. Mix.
  3. Add the yeast and mix well. Add the egg whites and mix gently from bottom to top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven in a greased shape for about 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
