- Recipe
- Water180 ml
- Oil80 ml
- sour starch250 g
- Sweet sprinkle100 g
- Salt | 1/2 teaspoon8 g
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- Half-cured cheese150 g
- Bring the water and oil to a boil. Meanwhile, place the sweet and sour sprinkles in a bowl and as soon as the liquid boils, slowly add them to the sprinkles, stirring with a spoon. As soon as it cools to the point of moving with your hand, knead the dough well until all the sprinkle is incorporated into the liquid. There's a ball of dough.
- Once the sprinkle mixture is cold, add the eggs one by one, mixing well with your hands after each addition. Add the salt and the cheese and knead well until you get a homogeneous mass. More or less 3 minutes. The dough needs to be at a point where it can be molded.
- Grease your hands with oil and take a portion of the dough and shape the cheese bread. I made portions the size of a ping pong ball. Place in a greased shape with oil. At this point it is possible to freeze the cheese breads, they can stay in the freezer for up to 3 months.
- To bake, bake in a preheated oven at 200° for approximately 30 minutes or until golden.
- See the step by step on my YouTube channel.
