  • Coalho cheese250 g
  • Granulated Tapioca250 g
  • Boiling milk500 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  1. Line a 20x25 mold with plastic wrap.
  2. Grate the cheese in the coarse grater and place in a bowl.
  3. Add the cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well and add the boiling milk, keep stirring until you get a homogeneous mass.
  4. Spread the mixture on the mold and run a spoon over it to make it straight. Place in the fridge for about 3 hours.
  5. After this time, cut into squares and fry in hot oil.
  6. Serve with Pepper Jelly.
  7. Tips: 1- This recipe can also be baked. 2- You can freeze the squares and fry whenever you want.
