- warm milk1 cup
- Sugar1 cup
- Boiled Cassava250 g
- Wheat flour2 cup
- Margarine2 tablespoon
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- Gem1 unit(s)
- Oil1 tablespoon
- In a bowl, place the warm milk, a spoonful of sugar and flour (as needed to form a thick porridge).
- Note: Let rise for about 10 minutes.
- In the same bowl, add the manioc (squeezed), salt, margarine, eggs and the rest of the sugar.
- Mix them all very well and add the wheat flour until you reach the point where you can roll.
- Note: Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- To make the buns, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Fill with sausage (same as in the photo) or if you prefer, you can use ham and fresh cheese.
- Then place on a lightly greased tray, take it to the preheated oven at 180°C and leave for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the buns from the oven, mix the yolk with the oil to brush, then put the buns back in the oven and leave until golden.
