- Wheat flour1 cup
- Butter40 g
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Milk100 ml
- Sugar1.5 tablespoon
- Yeast1 tablespoon
- Salt1/2 coffee spoon
- Sift the flour and yeast into a bowl.
- Add the salt and sugar and mix.
- Add the cold butter and mix with your fingertips, forming a crumb.
- Crack the egg into a measuring cup, and add milk to 150ml. Mix well with a fork and add to the dough.
- Stir with the spatula as far as you can and then transfer the dough to a countertop with a little flour. Mix with your hands adding very little flour just enough for the dough to be smooth. No need to knead.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, leaving a thickness of 1.5 cm. Cut with cookie cutter.
- Place the cookies in a greased and floured form.
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Don't let it bake too much.
- Serve with jam or butter while still warm.
