  • Oat flakes1/2 cup
  • Plant milk (or milk)1/2 cup
  • Chia*1/2 tablespoon
  • Cane molasses**1 tablespoon
  1. * chia is optional. It helps keep it more consistent but adds flavor. If you don't like it, or don't have it, don't post it. ** you can use the sweetener of your choice: molasses, coconut nectar, honey, sugar, brown sugar...
  2. Place the chia, milk, oatmeal and molasses in a container. Stir well until incorporated (important to check that there are no chia 'pellets' left, as they tend to stick). Cover, can be with plastic film, and take the fridge for at least 6 hours. Ideally, keep it in the fridge overnight.
  3. When eating, add your favorite toppings. I made two flavors: peanut butter with banana and cinnamon and strawberry. But use any fruit you like, nuts, spreads, dried fruit... You can also heat it up in the microwave if you want to eat it warm!
