- thick rolled oats1.2 cup
- filtered water1.3 cup
- salt to taste
- Add the rolled oats, water and salt to a blender jar. Mix and let the ingredients rest for 10 minutes so the oats hydrate. It absorbs water during this time and becomes softer.
- Beat well until you get a smooth cream. Add more water, if necessary. We want a fluid dough, but not too liquid. (Check out the recipe video if you have questions.)
- Distribute the dough in a heated non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook until the pancake sets. Then flip the pancake and cook for a few more minutes.
- Remove from the pan and roll with your hands to make it pliable. Then serve with your favorite accompaniments.
