  • English potato or asterix3 unit(s)
  • Ground beef200 g
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Onion1/2 unit(s)
  • Vegetable oil for sautéing1 tablespoon
  • Shoyu2 tablespoon
  • Mirim1 tablespoon
  • Sugar1 teaspoon
  • Chives to taste
  • Wheat flour1/2 cup
  • Panko flour2 cup
  • Oil for frying the croquettes to taste
  1. Peel the potatoes and cook in water until softened. Mash as a puree and set aside to cool well.
  2. Sauté the ground beef with onion and season with soy sauce, mirin and sugar. If necessary, adjust the salt. Let it cool down.
  3. Once cool, mix the puree with the meat and make flattened balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Dip the croquettes first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the panko.
  5. Deep fry until golden brown over medium to high heat. It's very crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside!
