  • Sliced French Bread2 unit(s)
  • Cooked Butter Beans8 tablespoon
  • Homemade tomato sauce with basil or passata with basil8 tablespoon
  • Chopped red onion1/2 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • Arugula Leaves to accompany to taste
  1. Cook the butter beans with salt until al dente (about 25 minutes in a pressure cooker or 50 minutes in a regular pot)
  2. This type of bean does not form a broth, so it is perfect for recipes like bruschetta.
  3. Cut the French bread into slices
  4. Put tomato sauce on each slice
  5. Mix the chopped red onion with the cooked butter beans and put the tablespoon on each slice of bread with the sauce
  6. Season with olive oil and salt to taste
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and serve with arugula leaves to taste (optional)
  9. Great snack option or vegan entry 😋
