- Sliced French Bread2 unit(s)
- Cooked Butter Beans8 tablespoon
- Homemade tomato sauce with basil or passata with basil8 tablespoon
- Chopped red onion1/2 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
- Arugula Leaves to accompany to taste
- Cook the butter beans with salt until al dente (about 25 minutes in a pressure cooker or 50 minutes in a regular pot)
- This type of bean does not form a broth, so it is perfect for recipes like bruschetta.
- Cut the French bread into slices
- Put tomato sauce on each slice
- Mix the chopped red onion with the cooked butter beans and put the tablespoon on each slice of bread with the sauce
- Season with olive oil and salt to taste
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
- Drizzle with olive oil and serve with arugula leaves to taste (optional)
- Great snack option or vegan entry đ
