Bata na batedeira ou liquidificador a manteiga e o açúcar até virar um creme.

In a mixer or blender, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.

Adicione os ovos e a essência de baunilha ao creme e bata mais um pouco. 

Add the eggs and vanilla essence to the cream and beat some more.

Adicione os ingredientes secos, farinha e fubá e vá mexendo até formar uma massa. 

Add the dry ingredients, flour and cornmeal and mix until a dough forms.

Polvilhe  uma bancada com farinha de trigo e abra a massa com o abridor de massas, corte com um cortador ou faça bolinhas pequenas e amasse com um garfo. 
Forre a forma com papel manteiga e leve ao forno a 200 graus até começar a dourar a parte de baixo. 

Dust a worktop with wheat flour and open the dough with the dough opener, cut with a cutter or make small balls and mash with a fork.
Line the pan with parchment paper and bake at 200 degrees until the bottom starts to brown.
