  • Fresh green corn (already cut, without the cob)700 g
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Sunflower oil1/2 cup
  • Minas fresh or semi-cured cheese1 cup
  • Salt1 coffee spoon
  • Water1/4 cup
  1. Blend the corn, sugar, water and salt in a blender. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the oil to the point of frying (very hot) and place half on the corn mass to scald, and mix well until the oil is incorporated. Then blanch with the other half and mix again.
  3. In a small and greased cake tin (preferably an English cake type) place half the dough, distribute the cheese and cover with the rest of the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. At the end you can raise the oven to maximum temperature to give an extra golden brown.
