- Vinegar1 cup
- Water2 cup
- Salt1 tablespoon
- Black Peppercorns to taste
- Peel the carrots and cut into sticks 1 finger thick.
- In a saucepan, combine the water, vinegar, peppercorns and salt. Add the carrots and heat until the carrots are cooked but still firm.
- Let it cool down and put it in a sterilized glass. Close well. Leave the glass "upside down" for about 20 minutes. This prevents the preserve from spoiling. Store in the fridge.
