- 1/2 cup of water100 ml
- 1/4 cup of olive oil50 ml
- 1 teaspoon of salt5 g
- 1 tablespoon of sugar15 g
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast5 g
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour250 g
- Pepperoni to taste
- Mozzarella to taste
- cherry tomato to taste
- Quail Egg to taste
- Oregano to taste
- In a bowl put the water, dry yeast, oil, sugar and mix. Gradually add the wheat, salt and mix until you get a texture that you can knead by hand.
- Knead the dough until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough, cover with a plastic or cloth and let it rest until it doubles in volume.
- Open the dough forming a circle, place a large lid in the center of the dough, cut the dough that was outside the lid into strips of about 2 cm and interlace, intertwining one in the other.
- With a fork, pierce the dough in the center, add the stuffing in the following order: mozzarella, pepperoni, quail egg, tomato and oregano.
- Brush the edges with 1 egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 25 minutes. Help yourself.
