- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Peel the beets.
- With a mandolin, cut very thin slices (as thin as you can) and transfer to a bowl.
- Add the oil and salt. Mix well and let it rest for 15 minutes, so that the beets release liquid, so they become more crispy.
- Discard the liquid and transfer the beetroot slices to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. The parchment paper is very important so that the chips don't stick to the pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for approximately 1 hour (may vary depending on the oven), or until crispy. Be careful not to overdo it, otherwise they will become bitter. Let cool before serving.
