- 1 teaspoon of sugar5 g
- 1 cup of milk200 ml
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt3 g
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast4 g
- 4 cups of wheat flour400 g
- Hot dog sausage to taste
- Parmesan cheese to taste
- For the dough, in a bowl place the dry yeast, sugar, milk, egg yolks and mix until smooth.
- Add some wheat flour, salt and mix.
- Transfer to a bench and add the wheat gradually, until you get a smooth dough that doesn't stick to your hands.
- Roll out a portion of the dough, do not leave it too thin, grease the rim of a glass and cut 8 circles.
- On the edge of the same glass, arrange the dough circles, in a way that they overlap and when unmoulding it looks like a flower.
- Place a piece of sausage in the center of each flower, arrange the buns on a greased baking sheet, brush with egg whites, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and let rise for 40 minutes or until doubled in volume.
- Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes or until lightly golden.
