- Recipe
- Fresh white fish (boneless)400 g
- Pepper1/2 unit(s)
- Pineapple1/4 unit(s)
- Red onion1/2 unit(s)
- Chili pepper10 unit(s)
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Shoyu1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice and zest1/2 unit(s)
- Fresh coriander1/2 cup
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Black pepper to taste
- Chop all the vegetables and the pineapple into small cubes.
- Soak the onion in hot water (if you want it less crunchy) or ice water (if you want to keep the crunchiness) to remove the acidity.
- Cut the fish into small cubes.
- Season the fish with olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and zest, black pepper and salt.
- Add the other reserved ingredients (drain the onion from the sauce and add it too) and mix everything well.
- Finally, add the chopped fresh cilantro and taste to see if the seasoning needs adjustment. Let everything incorporate for 5 minutes.
- To serve, you can directly place a deep plate or plate using a ring. The important thing is to remove the excess water, using a sieve, as I show in the video. And if necessary, remove with a paper towel.
- And it's ready to serve! You can serve it with toast, sweet potato crispy, cassava, or any other accompaniment you prefer.
