  • Peeled and chopped cassava1/2 cup
  • Water2 cup
  • Salt1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Onion2 tablespoon
  • Crushed Garlic Clove1/2 unit(s)
  • Tomato puree3 tablespoon
  • Coconut milk2 tablespoon
  • Clean shrimp1/2 cup
  • Chopped green pepper2 tablespoon
  • Chopped coriander1/2 tablespoon
  • Palm oil1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutrin Senior6 tablespoon
  • Water1/2 cup
  1. In a large pot, place the water, cassava and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for about 25 minutes or until the cassava is soft. Remove from heat and wait for it to cool down a bit.
  3. In a blender, beat the manioc with 4 tablespoons of the cooking time, in order to obtain a cream that is not too thick. If necessary add more broth. Reserve.
  4. In a pan, heat the oil, sauté the onion and garlic.
  5. Add tomato puree and coconut milk.
  6. When it starts to boil, add the prawns and peppers and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  7. Add the beaten and reserved cassava and heat.
  8. Turn off the heat, add the coriander, palm oil and Nutren Senior diluted in half a cup of warm water and mix well.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve next.
