- Fresh tuna1 kg
- Soy sauce (Shoyu) 240ml1 cup
- Chopped chives (3/4)1 cup
- Sesame oil2 tablespoon
- Toasted sesame seeds1 tablespoon
- Pepperoni (optional)1 tablespoon
- Chopped Macadamias2 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar or lemon juice for serving1 to taste
- Mix all the ingredients (- the vinegar/lemon) in a glass or metal bowl until the tuna is coated with the marinade. Let it rest for at least 2 hours in the fridge before serving. Note: vinegar or lemon juice are only used when serving and not in the marinade.
