Grilled Tilapia and Cauliflower Couscous

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil2 tablespoon
  • Garlic1 unit(s)
  • Capers2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Tilapia4 unit(s)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil2 tablespoon
  • Sicilian lemon juice1 unit(s)
  • Garlic1 unit(s)
  • Palm oil1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  1. wash the cauliflower
  2. Put a pan of water to boil. Once it reaches boiling, add a little salt.
  3. Add the chopped cauliflower into smaller pieces and cook for 4 minutes. The cauliflower should be tender but not falling apart.
  4. Process the cauliflower in a food processor until it has the texture of a couscous. Heat a pan with oil and add the minced garlic and capers. Then the processed cauliflower. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve.
  5. Season the Tilapia fillet with salt, garlic and lemon juice.
  6. Heat a non-stick frying pan with olive oil and palm oil.
  7. Grill the Tilapia for approximately 2 minutes on each side until golden.
  8. Serve the filet with the couscous accompanied by lemon to enhance the flavor. Capriche in plating.
