Cassava Flour

Zucchini

Cabbage

Cabbage Leaves

Stewed Chicken with Pirão

Temperei o frango com sal,pimenta e vinagre deixei marinando por 20 minutos.
Coloquei azeite numa panela, quando estava quente acrescentei o frango dourei bem dos dois lados, juntei o alho e dei uma fritadinha,por último a cebola, colorau e o extrato, acrescentei água o suficiente pra cobrir, tampei a panela e cozinhei por 30 minutos.

I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and vinegar and left it marinating for 20 minutes.
I put olive oil in a pan, when it was hot I added the chicken, browned well on both sides, added the garlic and fried it, lastly the onion, paprika and extract, added enough water to cover, covered the pan and cooked for 30 minutes .

Quando o frango estava bem macio, acrescentei abobrinha, repolho e as folhas de couve,um pouco mais de água e deixei no fogo por mais 10 minutos.

When the chicken was very soft, I added zucchini, cabbage and kale leaves, a little more water and left it in the fire for another 10 minutes.

Para fazer o pirão retirei uma parte do caldo do frango juntei a farinha misturei bem e levei ao fogo mexendo bem até cozinhar a farinha.

To make the pirão, I removed a part of the chicken broth, added the flour, mixed well and took it to the fire, stirring well until the flour was cooked.
