  • Boneless thigh and drumstick1 unit(s)
  • Sugar1 tablespoon
  • Oil, olive oil or butter to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water1/2 cup
  • Orange juice1/2 cup
  • Minced garlic3 unit(s)
  1. Fat of your choice in the bottom of the pan, still turned off with the sugar. Over high heat, let the sugar caramelize.
  2. Put the chicken just seasoned with salt and pepper and let it brown well on both sides.
  3. Mix water and orange juice and set aside.
  4. Lower the heat and add the water and orange juice mixture every time the liquid in the pan dries up.
  5. Repeat the process for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Stirring every time you add more liquid.
  6. Add the garlic and sauté a little longer.
  7. When the garlic is golden, turn off the heat and serve.
