Season the already cleaned chicken with vinegar, minced garlic, and salt.
Mix the mayonnaise with the chopped or grated onion, and the powdered seasoning of your choice.
Spread the mixture on the chicken and place it in a plastic bag suitable for baking in the oven. On a baking sheet, bake at 250° for 1 hour, carefully remove the plastic. Drizzle the chicken with the broth from the roasting pan and return the chicken to the oven until golden.
