- Recipe
- pork ribs1.5 kg
- Lemon1 unit(s)
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Garlic (clove)3 unit(s)
- Scented Pepper3 unit(s)
- Colorau1 tablespoon
- Oil3 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper (or homemade seasoning) to taste
- White rice500 g
- boiling water3 l
- Ora-pro-Nobis (pack)1 unit(s)
- Season the ribs with the juice of a lemon, salt and black pepper to taste (or homemade seasoning). In a pan, heat the oil, and brown the ribs well with the paprika.
- Add 750ml of boiling water (3 cups) to the ribs and cook over high heat until the water dries up.
- When it starts to brown again, add another 750ml and let the water dry again and start to “stick to the bottom of the pan”.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic and chili pepper. Sauté for 2 min and add the rice WITHOUT WASHING. Saute for another 2 min.
- Add the rest of the boiling water. And stir well every 5 min (15 in total) to release the starch well to make the rice very creamy. If you want, add more water than you can to make the rice more broth, more humid.
- Turn off the heat and add the ora-pro-nóbis, coarsely chopped (it doesn't like heat or water, it creates “drool” if cooked in broth, loses color and nutrients if cooked for a long time).
