- Black-eyed peas, macassar or green beans.1/2 kg
- Beef jerky1 kg
- Fine cassava flour to taste
- Tomatoes2 unit(s)
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Pepper1 unit(s)
- Coriander1 to taste
- Seasonings to taste
- Cook the beans with some coriander stalks and a few pieces of Charque and its fat (little secret). Cook under pressure for 5 to 6 minutes. Attention: the grain has to be al-dente. Can't focus too squishy, soft.
- Cut the jerked beef (dried meat) into small cubes, desalt it by letting it boil for 2 changes of water.
- Fry the charque with the vegetables in the oil. Season to taste.
- Finally, mix in the beans, the jerky, and the flour little by little so that the mixture is not dry.
- This dish can be accompanied by rice or served alone.
