Lamb shank roasted in orange and wine sauce

  • Orange juice500 ml
  • White wine250 ml
  • Thyme1 tablespoon
  • Lemon (juice)1 unit(s)
  • Crushed garlic cloves7 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped mint leaves10 unit(s)
  1. Mix orange juice, wine, thyme, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and mint.
  2. Rub the seasonings into the meat.
  3. Let the ham marinate for at least 12 hours in the fridge, turning occasionally.
  4. Place the ham, in a roast with all the seasonings.
  5. Take the ham to the oven preheated to 230 and let it bake for 30 min.
  6. Lower the oven temperature to 200, and bake for another 50 minutes.
  7. If necessary, add a little water, in the roast with the ham, during cooking so as not to burn the sauce.
  8. Remove
  9. Serve hot with the meat sauce.
  10. To accompany, serve with red wine.
  11. Enjoy without moderation! 😁
