Filet Mignon with Whiskey Sauce

  • Filet Mignon800 g
  • Butter100 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Whiskey100 ml
  • Garlic to taste
  • Aromatic herbs to taste
  1. Portion the filet mignon into medallions of approximately 180g to 200g and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Heat a frying pan and fry the medallions, herbs and garlic cloves just mashed with butter to the point of your taste, turning the meat only once.
  3. Remove the medallions, garlic and herbs and set aside
  4. Add the whiskey to the bottom of the skillet and stir until the sauce is composed and the alcohol evaporates.
  5. Assemble the medallions on the plate with the accompaniments and add the sauce over the meat. Enjoy your food!
