  • Couscous pasta 1 onion 3 garlic green seasoning to taste 1/2 pepper 1/4 cabbage 1 small piece of sertão or beef jerky 1 pepperoni or 3 hot dog sausages3 to taste
  1. Cook the couscous without adding salt to the pasta and set aside. Cut into small pieces and blanch the sertão or jerked beef. Place the carne de sertão and the pepperoni in slices in a frying pan with a little oil (because the pepperoni also releases oil) and sauté. When the sertão begins to fry, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic. When the onion starts to turn yellow, add the cabbage cut into strips, the pepper and the green seasoning. Saute everything until the cabbage starts to wilt. At the end, add the couscous to the pan and break it with a wooden spoon or a fork until it turns into crumbs. Stir and leave the farofa very uniform and colorful. You can add white pepper and oregano to the seasoning. It is delicious and a great option for coffee at night.
