- Recipe
- Ground beef500 g
- Wheat for kibbeh250 g
- Chopped Onion1 unit(s)
- Chopped seedless tomato1 unit(s)
- Chopped Mint1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Olive oil3 tablespoon
- Japanese cucumber (accompaniment)1 unit(s)
- Cherry Tomato (Accompaniment)200 g
- Place the wheat in a refractory and cover with water two fingers above. Soak for 3 hours and then drain and squeeze the wheat well.
- Add to the squeezed wheat, ground beef, chopped onion and tomato, mint, salt, black pepper and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well with a spoon. If you prefer, use your hands. But for this it is important to wear cooking gloves so as not to brown the meat with the heat of the skin.
- Place the kibbeh on a platter and drizzle with a little more olive oil. Cover the refractory with aluminum foil and bake for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
- While the kibbeh bakes, prepare the accompaniment for your meal to be even healthier. Wash the Japanese cucumber well and cut into cubes or slices. Then wash the cherry tomatoes and season the salad as you prefer.
- Now just take the kibbeh out of the oven and serve with the accompaniment. Enjoy your food!
