  • Portuguese sausage200 g
  • Potatoes500 g
  • Beef broth1 l
  • Cabbage1/2 unit(s)
  • Onion100 g
  • Garlic5 g
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil15 ml
  1. Peel the skin off the sausage, cut into small cubes and set aside.
  2. Peel the potato and cut it coarsely. Cut onion and mince garlic.
  3. In a pan, sauté the sausage until golden. Remove and reserve.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion in oil. Add the potatoes and beef broth.
  5. Let them cook until they almost fall apart. Reserve the broth and with a fork or fuet, puree the potatoes, then return with the beef broth and cook on low heat with the sausages.
  6. Remove the stems from the cabbage, roll them up and cut into thin strips, and also lengthwise, so it doesn't look like kale spaghetti. Add to broth.
  7. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a good slice of rustic or homemade bread.
