- Black-eyed Beans1 cup
- Chopped Bacon to taste
- Minced dried meat to taste
- Chopped Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Chopped green pepper1/3 unit(s)
- Olive oil5 tablespoon
- Lemon juice3 tablespoon
- Honey1 tablespoon
- Salt2 teaspoon
- Minced Girl's Finger Pepper1 unit(s)
- Lemon zest1 unit(s)
- Chopped chives to taste
- Start by preparing the sauce
- In a glass that has a lid, place the lemon juice, olive oil, honey, salt, lemon zest, pepper.
- Cover the glass and shake until smooth. Reserve.
- Cook the beans in unsalted water until al dente and set aside.
- In a pan fry the bacon, then remove from the pan and fry the jerky.
- After the meat is fried, add the bacon, onion and peppers. Saute quickly.
- In a refractory place the drained beans and add the braised meat and chives.
- Drizzle with the reserved sauce and mix gently.
