  • sesame seeds, shelled (can be white or black)500 g
  1. Wash the sesame seeds under running water. Then dry them well with a cloth.
  2. Place in a medium oven for approximately 5 minutes. You need to pay attention because, because the seeds are very small, they can burn easily. The color we want is slightly golden.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a while. Then put it in a food processor and blend until you get a homogeneous mixture*.
  4. Store in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

  2. Depending on the power of the processor, this may take a while. In this case, turn off the processor, scrape the sides with a spatula and wait a while for the sesame oil to release. Beat again and repeat the process until you get the texture you prefer.
