Em uma panela cozinhe as batatas até que fique mole.

Em seguida tire toda casca das batatas e amasse todas elas com um garfo.

Then remove all the skin from the potatoes and mash them all with a fork.

Agora em uma panela adicione o óleo e o alho já picadinho leve ao fogo médio e deixe até ficar douradinho.

Now in a pan add the oil and the minced garlic, take it to the medium fire and let it get golden.

Depois que o alho estiver douradinho e ainda com o fogo ligado acrecente a batata já amassada e misture bem.

After the garlic is golden and still with the fire on, add the mashed potato and mix well.

Em seguida adicione a manteiga e o sal a gosto e misture novamente, em seguida acrescente o leite  e vá mexendo até chegar no ponto de uma mistura homogênea ou mais durinha de acordo com seu gosto.
E prontinho.

Then add the butter and salt to taste and mix again, then add the milk and stir until you reach the point of a homogeneous mixture or harder according to your taste.
And ready.
