  • Carioquinha or black beans300 g
  • Bay leaf1 unit(s)
  • Chopped cabola1 unit(s)
  • Chopped garlic cloves3 unit(s)
  • Oil3 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Boiling water2 l
  1. In a pressure cooker, place the beans and bay leaves. You can also add 1 tablet of ready-made broth of your choice.
  2. Add the water and cover the pan.
  3. Over high heat, let it come to pressure. Then lower the heat and cook for 45 minutes. Remove the pressure and keep the pan uncovered over medium heat.
  4. In another pan or frying pan, fry the garlic and onion.
  5. Add two ladles of bean broth. You can mash the grains that come in to make a thicker stew.
  6. Pour the stew into the bean pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Just serve!
