  • Granulated Tapioca250 g
  • Finely grated curd cheese375 g
  • Boiling whole milk500 ml
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. In a bowl, mix the granulated tapioca and the cheese well. Add the salt and pepper (the original recipe calls for white pepper, but I didn't and I used black pepper). . Over this mixture, pour the milk. You will see that the tapioca begins to hydrate and the cheese to melt. Mix very well. . Prepare a platter or mold lined with cling film and pour this mixture. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for at least two hours. . Remove from the refrigerator, cut the dough into cubes (dices) and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Dices will be in the oven until golden on all sides. You need to turn the dices while they bake, until the 6 sides are evenly golden. In my oven, I turned the dices every 5 minutes or so. . Serve with pepper jelly.
