  • 1 cup of lentils1 cup
  • 1/2 cup (tea) of white rice (raw)1/2 cup
  • 1 onion, diced1 unit(s)
  • Pinch of Cumin Powder Pinch1 to taste
  • pinch of black pepper and salt to taste1 to taste
  • 4 cups (tea) of hot water4 cup
  • 1 vegetable stock broth (1 knorr tablet)1 unit(s)
  1. 1- Before starting, wash the lentils well; 2-TIP: no need to soak. 3-In a pan, put a thread of oil and sauté the onion; 4- Then add the cooked lentils; 5- Mix well, season with black pepper, cumin and mix a little more; 6- Dissolve the vegetable broth in the hot water and pour this mixture into the pan with the lentils; 7- Stir, cover and cook for about 15 minutes on medium heat; 8- After this time, add the rice; 9- Mix well and cover the pan; 10- Let it cook for another 10 minutes to cook the rice and finish cooking the lentils; 11- TIP: if necessary, add a little more water so that the beans do not become hard; 12- Turn off the heat and transfer the rice with lentils to a beautiful platter.
