  • Unwashed white rice2 cup
  • Hot water4 cup
  • Diced carrot1 unit(s)
  • Garlic cloves6 unit(s)
  • Chopped Onion1 unit(s)
  • White raisins1 cup
  • Olive oil or oil2 tablespoon
  • Chopped bell pepper1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Green smell to taste
  1. In a pan, sauté garlic in oil. Add the onion, peppers and carrot, let it braise for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the uncooked rice and salt, stir everything for 1 minute to enhance the flavors.
  3. Put the hot water and let cook until dry the water, in medium fire. When the rice is "al dente", turn off the heat and add the raisins and parsley (I only used parsley).
  4. Leave the lidded pan steaming for a few more minutes. Your Greek rice will be fluffy and tasty.
