- Extra virgin olive oil1 cup
- Brazil Nuts12 cup
- Basil leaves2 cup
- Avocado1/2 unit(s)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon1/2 unit(s)
- In a processor or blender put the basil, avocado, chestnuts, lemon and seasonings. (other seasonings are welcome, I used a pinch of pepperoni and garlic in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder) Add oil and mix until smooth.
- The pesto can be served with a pasta, it would make 4 servings or as an antipasto for an aperitif
