Sliced Potato

Comecei cortando as batatas em pedaços pequeno e coloquei em uma panela com o sal e a água  .

I started by cutting the potatoes into small pieces and putting them in a pan with the salt and water.

Deixei cozinhar até ficar macias. 
Depois amassei elas com o garfo. 

I let it cook until soft.
Then I mash them with a fork.

Na mesma panela coloquei a manteiga , o leite as batata amassadas . 

In the same pan I put the butter, the milk and the mashed potatoes.

Misture bem e leve ao fogo.  Até engrossar bem o purê.  

Mix well and bring to a boil. Until the puree thickens.
