  4. After about 2 minutes of sautéing, add the already washed and drained jilo.
  5. Stir slowly with a wooden spoon.
  6. After 3 minutes, over low heat, add the water gradually. Because the secret is to let the jilo not cook too much. Finally, add salt to taste, add a little more water so that there is a little broth.
  7. If you haven't added a lot of salt, you can use a sazon envelope for vegetables or meat, or another one of your choice.
  8. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes and a delicious jilo stew is ready.
  9. In the absence of olive oil, soybean oil can be used. Changes the flavor a little but it stays good too.
