- Olive oil | 50 ml
- Smoked paprika | 1/2 teaspoon

Recipe
- Start by making an X at the base of the tomato with the help of a sharp knife. Place them in a pan of boiling water and leave for 1 minute. Remove and place in a bowl with cold water to give a thermal shock. Remove the skin from the tomatoes, pulling them gently.
- Cut the skinless tomatoes with 4. Place them in the blender and beat in pulse mode for a more rustic sauce, or beat well for a smoother sauce.
- Heat a pan and add the olive oil. Sauté the finely chopped onion and then the garlic. Add the crushed tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Let it cook on low heat for at least 30 minutes. Add a little water if necessary. When turning off the fire, finish with the fresh basil daughters.
