  • Ingredients
  • Recipe
  • Chunked cassava1 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil1 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying to taste
  1. Cook the cassava in a deep pan with water and salt.
  2. When it is well cooked, drain and remove the fiber from the center
  3. Mash the cassava while still hot and add the butter (season to taste)
  4. Place in a greased baking dish, press well with your hands and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer, mark the cassava squares (with a knife) in the size you want, return to the freezer for another 30 minutes
  6. In a pan with hot oil, fry the cassava squares in small portions until golden
  7. Remove and let it dry on a paper towel.
  8. Serve as you like!
