- Crush the garlic and place it in the pan with the garlic.
- Wash the rice.
- Place the garlic over high heat until it wilts, and before it browns add the rice and salt.
- Sauté the rice for 6 minutes before adding the water.
- Add the water, keep the heat on high until the water dries up - poke a hole in the rice with the handle of the spoon to monitor the drying.
- When the water is 90% dry, lower the heat as low as you can and cover the rice for 5 min. After that, just serve!
