- Olive oil2 tablespoon
- Water1/2 cup
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Small shallot1 unit(s)
- Add the onion in small pieces to a drizzle of oil and sauté until golden. Add the shallot and sauté a few more minutes.
- Pour the water and let it boil. When it starts to boil, add the peas. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the peas are tender.
- Remove from heat, let cool a little and put the soup in a blender. A tip is to remove the cap that is in the middle of the larger lid of the blender and close the hole with a towel. This allows the heat of the soup to escape and prevents the appliance from exploding. Return the soup to the pot and serve.
